American soldiers mess tin lid recovered many years ago in the woods around Bastogne from the Bulge battle 1944-1945

This is a rare find from the battlefield American soldiers mess tin lid it does still have the remains its carry handle this has rusted away at the end but other then that not to much damage but does have some holes. The tin lid is its fairly shiny aluminium colour on the whole does have some dirt marks and stains from being buried but is in nice condition it has been very nicely cleaned retains a lot of its original colour and unusual to find from this famous battlefield. The mess tin was recovered many years ago in the woods around Bastogne from the Bulge battle 1944-1945 and comes with A5 laminated information card.
