British 18 pounder shell case primer with all its markings dated November 1917 very nice condition found on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme battlefield

The primer still has all its maker markings and dated November 1917 it still has its original brass colour with no real damage it has been very well cleaned and retains most of its original colour and is perfect for display or any collection the primer is completely empty and inert and is in lovely condition for a battlefield recovered one. The primer was was found on the Somme a very nice condition this would have been fired during the later battles on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
