    This is a Nice condition World war 1 French soldiers food canteen LA Perpetuelle Number 3 which is a complete tin but missing its glass bowl.The tin in very nice condition with original green paintwork remains clear to see and maker marked on the top also clear to see and has some remains of its original paper label.This mess tin is in nice solid condition with some very light surface rust but nothing bad this tin does open the screw on the bracket has rusted but does open but is very stiff.This mess tin which is not an easy find these days in this good a condition it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The mess tin was found many years ago on the famous Verdun battlefield of 1914-1918 and has been in to a private collection in the Verdun area now available for the first time since the war and outside of France a lovely relic from the The Verdun battlefield of 1914-1918 in France.
