British 4.5 inch howitzer brass shell case dated 1918 no primer dated December 1917 clear to see,lovely condition original colour found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918

This is a British 4.5 inch howitzer shell case in very nice condition it still retains its lovely shiny brass colour but it has vey little discolour nothing to bad. The case still has all of its original markings on the bottom lovely clear to see including the date 1917 with no primer over all a very nice condition and a good example .The case come from a private collection and was found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918. in France. A very relic from the famous western front battlefield.
