    This is a very rare find in this condition with markings a German soldiers spoon.The spoon which is not a broken with fantastic maker marking on the handle very clear to see with the soldiers Initials and dated 1859 and maker stamped on the back of the handle. The spoon still retains its original colour and have partly discoloured and has some dents and knocks from being buried but still very solid not braking up at all it is very nicely cleaned and is 7 inches long. The spoon was recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay which was a German artillery position during the later part of The Somme battle in 1916 a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
