German soldiers or officers cap badge cockade and roundel dated 1939 recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo which was in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1943.

This is a German soldiers or officers cap badge cockade which is near complete and is in 2 parts it also has its back pins and the roundel dated 1939 and maker marked but hard to see still with some original black paint remains. The parts have been very nicely cleaned and still retain a lot of there original colour solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection and a very unusual find from the battlefield in such nice condition. The badges was recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo which was in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad from 1942-1943 in Russia
