This is a nice condition pair of relic German soldiers belt buckles one Luftwaffe issue the other Army which are relic they are not complete but very near complete a few small bits have rusted away but still with there markings still pretty visible on the front and on the back. On the front the eagles and swastikas are there they are in nice solid condition they do not retain much original colour they have been nicely cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The buckles were recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket,Normandy in France 1944. A nice relic from the famous Normandy battlefield summer 1944.
