    This is a 5mm gun shield section which is a blown off section with has ripped of the tank by the impact of the explosion.The armour plate section still has some remains of original sand colour paintwork and red undercoat paint the section which is a large size at 16 inches long by 8 inches wide in size it is relic and rusty but is in very nice solid condition it has been nicely cleaned after the recovery and is perfect for display or any collection.The armour plate was recovered from a German Wespe destroyed during the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East at Kursk the 1943 battle in Russia .This armour comes with a laminated A5 information sheet with information and photos.
