This is a British Soldiers army issue Water Bottle which still retains its original blue colour complete with its cork stopper and the rare bit is it still has some remains of its original water inside but does now have a pin prick hole in the bottom now and some of the water is coming out it is in nice solid condition for a recovered relic with a lot of the original blue paintwork. The bottle does have some damage with surface rust from being buried but nothing to bad at all it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. This bottle was recovered from Broodseinde Ridge the October 1917 battle part of the battles around the Ypres salient in the later part of the war. A very nice find from the famous Ypres battlefield of 1914-1918 in Belgium.
