The blade, handle section is still inside the scabbard both have ripped off in an explosion the bayonet has been nicely cleaned it is in relic but solid condition it is rusty but not crumbling or braking up and a nice example of a rarer to find type of battlefield recovered German bayonet which is perfect for display or any collection.
