    This is  a complete airframe inspection panel with near all of its original dark blue/green paintwork and remains of a red stripe. The panel is undamaged from the impact of the crash but has some rust and discolour from the elements and being partly buried it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition and a nice and very rare one for the collection perfect for display the panel is 7 inches long in size. The panel comes from German Messerschmitt 110C of 6/ZG76 work number 3603 the plane crashed landed back in France after combat with British fighters in the battle of Britain 1940.The cannon part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures.

    This German Messerschmitt 110 on the 31st August 1940 was severely damaged by RAF fighters during a combat sortie over the channel. The plane limped back to France and crash landed at Saint Lnglevert Southwest of Calais. The crew, Hauptmann Nacke and a Unteroffizier were both wounded in the crash the plane was a write off by the Luftwaffe left abandoned for many years until being rediscovered then over stripped of parts and broken up into bits.
