    This is a nice group of finds which are a mixture of 10 aluminium and metal airframe sections also internal engine parts and mag allow engine case. The airframe and engine parts don't have much paintwork remains some are rusty but solid all are in nice clean condition with some original colour this sections have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash they have been nicely cleaned. These parts are around 2-4 inches long and are perfect for display or any collection. This group of parts was recovered from German Messerschmitt 110 number 3060 of 4/ZG 26 it was shot down on the 18th August 1940 by RAF fighters of number 56 squadron. The plane crashed at Pivington Mill in the village of Pluckley in Kent during the Battle of Britain. A very nice group of parts from the famous battle of Britain and German Messerschmitt 110 bomber perfect for display and comes with a A5 laminated information sheet.

    The Messerschmitt 110 was piloted by Oberfeldwebel Kiefel and co-pilot Unteroffizer Hemmersbach were both killed. The plane was shot down at 1.40pm on that Sunday afternoon in the Summer of 1940.
