    This is a Bakelite carry case dated 1944 with maker markings clear to see for flash reducing charges for firing on the German 15cm SIG 33 artillery gun. The case is missing its lid but is still a very solid relic which has been very well cleaned and retains some of its brown colour it is not braking up or falling apart it has been very well preserved by the forest and is perfect for display or any collection. This case was recovered from the woods around Bastogne from the siege in the Ardennes Forest in Belgium from the winter of 1944 during Hitlers last great offensive in the West.
