    This is a American soldiers shoe tin polish which is complete with all its contents. The tin is still a very solid relic which has been very well cleaned and retains a lot of its green colour with black stamp markings fairly clear to see  it is not braking up or falling apart it has been very well preserved by the forest and is perfect for display or any collection. This tin was recovered from the woods around Bastogne from the siege in the Ardennes Forest in Belgium from the winter of 1944 during Hitlers last great offensive in the West.
