This is a nice glass framed display which is a group of 3 German powder charge bags dated 1943 for 5cm anti tank gun and a 7.62cm PAK[36]r anti-tank gun the frame is 17 inches by 12 inches in size. The bags still retain most of there original colours and maker markings they have been nicely cleaned and are very solid not braking up or falling apart they have been mounted in to a glass fronted frame with information and pictures. The bags were recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944.
