This is a very unusual find a British soldiers 1907 pattern Number 1 dress uniform jacket used by soldier in World War 1. The jacket is pretty much complete it is missing all its buttons but all the fabric is still there not badly damaged or mothed at all still retains its nice original colours the jacket has been well used and has a lot general wear and tear and dirt on it from being stored for many years. The jacket has no insignia on it but does have maker stamp inside a very nice example still very solid not braking up or falling apart perfect for display or any collection. The jacket was found during renovation work on a House in Bouzincourt British rear area during the battle on the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 the jacket was found many years ago and has been in a private collection ever since very rare to find a jacket in this good a condition from the battlefield.
