This is a German Army small storage tin for carrying spare vehicle parts .The tin is complete but in nice relic condition only lightly rusty still covered in the remains of the original red paintwork on the outside and inside but still solid with no rust holes the hinge works fine the lid opens, closes but does not lock it still has its carry handle it is still a very solid relic nicely cleaned perfect for any display or collection and unusual to find from this very famous battlefield. The tin was recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943 in Russia.
