This is a German 7.5 cm leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18 infantry gun Z23 shell head very rare zing made dated 1941 and would have been painted yellow on the tip these zinc ones are so rare to find recovered as they normally just rotted away. The head has been fired and does have some damage from the impact of that missing its nose cone defiantly but is still nice and solid and is in very nice condition for a recovered relic does still have some of its original colour the head has been very well cleaned perfect for display or any collection. This head was recovered on the Sevastopol battlefield in the Crimea 1941- 1942
