    British fuel can or better known the famous Jerry can this one is dated 1943 with the War Department arrow with blue over paint of the green paintwork possibly naval use.The tin still with some of its Green camouflage paintwork and a lot of blue paintwork on the top of the can both clear to see it has no real damage small dents and some scratches from use it does  have a few rust holes in the bottom and the cap still opens and closes also locks perfectly well it is in overall a nice condition and a nice example of this famous fuel can found from the battlefield.This can was recovered on a Farm in the Village of Clecy near Falaise in Normandy from the summer battlefield of 1944.
