    This is a rare British Soldiers 1907 pattern quill hook handle Lee Enfield bayonet this is the very early type not that common to find.The bayonet which is near complete it is missing the blade tip and its wooden handle grips.The bayonet is relic but not badly rusty it is still very solid.The bayonet has no visible markings and has been nicely cleaned and is perfect to display or any collection and good one for the collection as lee enfield bayonets are getting hard to get hold off now this pattern especially recovered from the battlefield.This bayonet was recovered from near Albert around the British frontline of June - July 1916 on the Somme battlefield.
