    This is a nice section of parachute silk from the pilot’s parachute who was Stabsfeldwebel Hans Zander he was killed in German Messerschmitt 262 jet plane the pilot Hans Zander it was shot down on the 9 December 1944 over Germany by American fighters. This unusual to find parachute relic obviously it does have some damage from the crash the silk has been burnt in the fire and black stains from that it is a very dirty cream colour it is also very stained from being buried it is still solid and not braking up or crumbling and is perfect for display or any collection and is 10 inches by 7 inches in size.A nice ME262 jet relic  from this very late war airbattle and comes with A5 laminated information card.
