    This is a cannon case which has been fired dated 1942 fired by Russian PTRD 41 anti-tank rifle it is in overall fantastic condition. The case still retains all of its brass colour it has not been discoloured from being buried and is damaged around the neck the markings on the bottom including the red star are not clear to see it is in nice solid condition and has been very well cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection. The case was recovered from near the village of Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943 the site of the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East at Kursk in Russia.
