    This is a nice size clean armoured plate panel with lots of original green paintwork on both sides mostly on the one side clear to see.This armoured plated panel with many bolt holes in has ripped and bent slightly by the impact of the crash but is still very solid and retains a lot of original colour it is in lovely clean condition perfect for display or any collection and is 13 inches long and 8 inches wide.This airframe part was recovered from RAF Bristol Blenheim number T1851 which was shot down and crashed on the 9th September 1940, while on a night raid on Ostend in Belgium.The panel is perfect for display or any collection and comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with picture of the pilot and other pictures.

    The plane crashed, the reason is unknown; whether it was shot down by enemy aircraft, anti-aircraft fire or suffered a mechanical failure is a mystery. The plane of 107 squadron was one of two that was lost that night the plane crashed near the village of Hesdin in Northern France.

    The crew, Pilot Officer Charles De Vick Halkett aged 25 killed, Sargent Alec Victor Jacobs aged 21 killed, Sargent James Harley Easton age unknown killed.
