    This is a lovely engine part which is a coolant pump which has clear to see maker marking and part numbers it has a cogged section with brass fittings on one side. The outer case is mag allow made with lots of original black paintwork and a large size at 7 by 9 inches in size it still retains a lot of original colour the part has some damage from the impact of the crash but it is still very solid not braking up at all and has been very nicely cleaned and lovely bit of German engine it is perfect for display or any collection and comes with A5 laminated information card. The part comes from German Messerschmitt ME110 work number 2072 of 2/NJG 4 which took off from Florennes in Belgium on the evening of 5th October 1942.The plane was on intercept mission on British RAF bombers who were on a raid over the City of Aachen the aircraft eventually ran out of fuel and crash landed at Attigny in the Ardennes Forest Belgium. The pilot was Unteroffizier Suhre he jumped clear of the plane but was wounded.
