    This is a very rare to find British officers private purchase mark 2 brodie helmet in very nice condition still with a lot of its original green paintwork at least 70% all nice and clear to see the helmet is missing its leather liner and chin strap. The helmet still has both its chinstrap holder clips the helmet has no holes it is in very solid condition and has been very well cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection and a very nice example and very rare to find from this famous battle. The helmet would have been worn by a British officer in the 30 Corps as the town it was found in the town which was captured by them in 1944.The helmet is private purchase mark 2 brodie helmet because the helmet is the shorter peak then the standard factory made ones this meand its private made and only officers would have that it is a lovely condition helmet which is semi relic at worst it was found in the Town of Uden near Eindhoven from Operation Market Garden, September 1944 in Holland.
