This is a German near complete Field telephone model 33 still in its bakerlite case still with some of its internals which is a rare find from the battlefield. This telephone is still complete with its handset it is waffen stamped on the middle internal plate and with a lot of other internal parts still attached the lid on the phone is broken the bakerlite case still retains a lot of its original colours the phone still has original wiring and parts attached there are some of the maker markings on the parts inside the box and on the inside of the lid the lid has broken and is missing a part of it and the lock does not work it also has a label on the top of the lid still with readable markings. The phone is still very solid but is pretty much in as found condition with some dirt still attached but it is perfect to display or any collection it has been very lightly cleaned but would clean up more with effort and usual to find from the battlefield in this condition. The telephone was recovered from Monte Cassino the Italian battlefield of 1944 the telephone was recovered many years ago and has been in a local museum since which closed down in 2015.A very nice relic from the very famous Italian battlefield. The phone comes with a A5 laminated information card.
