    This is a very nice and very rare condition and recognisable American relic from the air war over Normandy. This is a engine drive shaft section is from inside the hart of one of the supercharged Allision V-12 engine it is not complete it has has been cut away from a larger part and has been bent by the impact of the crash it has been very well cleaned it is in fantastic condition it still retains some of its original colours and is a very nice part from this famous aircraft which is perfect for display or any collection. The shaft section comes from US P38 Lightning 42-28456 shot down 19th June 1944 over Normandy and comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with pictures.
