    This is a fantastic condition British 2nd Pattern 1917 made Brodie Helmet which is not relic condition at all it has been well used but a lovely example.The helmet is complete with its leather liner and brown leather chin strap both leather parts still retain original colours and are very solid not braking up or falling apart in any way the helmet has no damage other then wear and tear from use. The helmet has a little bit of surface rust on the outside but not much at all it is in very solid condition it does retain near all of its original green paintwork it has been very well cleaned and with no holes in it at all it is perfect for display or any collection and.This is very rare to get such a good condition near perfect British soldiers Brodie helmet it came from a private collection on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 and has been in private hands for many years in the area it was used during the battle.
