    This is a French soldiers M15 Adrian helmet which is in relic but solid condition and does have some holes in the top of the helmet where the crown was and down one side but there is still some blue paint remains and does still have its infantry badge on the front.The helmet has both of its original chin strap holders but no actual chin strap but the very rare bit is the leather liner still in place not complete but near complete the leather is dry and solid this is so rare to find from the battlefield.This helmet was recovered from a chalk lined French dug out near the village of Tavannes which is in the area of ware the front line was in September 1916 on the famous Verdun battlefield.
