    This is a German 12cm mortar propellant charges carry tin used by soldiers of the Panzer Lehr Division which still has all its original stamped markings on the lid clear to see.The tin is in semi relic condition with some original paintwork but does surface rust and a few rust holes the lid opens and goes back on the tin is overall in very nice condition considering it is made of very thin metal but still a nice find from the battlefield in such good condition a lovely clean relic perfect to display or for any collection.The tin was recovered on a Farm near Rochefort which was a village attacked by the Panzer Lehr division on the 23rd December 1944 in the Ardennes Forest during the battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945 in Belgium.
