German 77mm shell case trench art nice flower with triangles design dated February 1917 found on The Somme battlefield

German 77mm shell case which is in very nice condition still retain's its shiny brass colour it has no major damage and is a nice clean example.The case has been trench art designed and has had a flower and leaf with triangles pattern top and bottom design scratched in to it properly by a soldier in the Trenches the case has all its original markings on the bottom of it including the date February 1917.The case came from a private collection on the Somme a very nice condition relic from the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
