    This is a pair of army issue German combat use pioneer soldiers barbed wire cutters they are rusty and in relic condition but overall in very good,solid they have rusted shut so do not work even have the remains of there original handle covers the cutters are a unusual find from the battlefield.The wire cutters recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle, Falaise Pocket in France 1944. A nice relic from the Normandy battlefield.
