German Fuel can the famous Jerry can which has all maker stamps and markings and is dated 1943 on the handle not on the side very rare to find normally these are early war cans. The can has its original paintwork but what looks like over painted in places as well maybe war time by the Germans or post war no way of knowing the can has been very well cleaned and is perfect to display or a rare one for the collection. The can has no rust holes that i can see it also has a few small dents and scratches from use and does have some surface rust all over it the cap still opens and closes also locks perfectly well it is in overall very nice condition and a very nice example of this famous fuel can battlefield found. This can was found many years ago and has been in a private collection ever since around Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the scene of the battle of the bulge in the winter of 1944-1945 a very nice and unusual relic from this famous battle and Hitler's last big offensive of the war.
