    German soldiers M16 helmet which was recovered from the river bank at Thiepval on The Somme in 2016.This was the scene of savage fighting on the 1st july 1916 during the first day of the battle of The Somme.The helmet it is in relic but solidish condition it is missing part of one side it is very rusty but is not braking up still has a bit of silt and dirt from the river bed attached to it the helmet is perfect for display or any collection and a RARE find from this very famous area of the battlefield.A very nice relic from a very famous area on the Somme battlefield.
