    This is a German MG34 machine gun flash cover this is the very end of the barrel.The flash cover which is in relic condition it is rusty but not to bad it has pitted more deeply in some places overall nice solid relic it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The flash cover attached to a Mg34 was used by soldiers of the German 6th Panzer division was recovered near the town of Cassel used in the battle which was fought from 27th until 30th of May 1940. This battle was part of the Dunkirk pocket perimeter fought around the port during the evacuation of May-June 1940 during the Battle of France.
