This is a pair of German 77mm shell cases matching pair trench art stripe design which are in very nice condition still retain's there shiny brass colour they have no major damage. The cases have all there original markings on the bottom of them including the dates 1916 and 1917 which are lovely and clear to read .The cases come from a private collection on the Somme and are a very nice condition pair of trench art from the famous Somme battlefield 16-1918.
