This is a very rare German propaganda shell with Ukrainian printed leaflets these shells were used to distribute propaganda material by the German army over the enemy lines. The shell is complete, with its internal components and parts the shell is black painted and is in very solid and lovely condition it has cleaned up very well and retains some of its original colour the metal is only very lightly pitted but overall very nice condition it is perfect for display or any collection and a rare find anyway but in such nice condition super rare. The shell comes with 5 original leaflets all dated December 1944 very solid not braking up or falling apart and can be read very well also have pictures and in Ukraine telling them to use this leaflet to change sides and fight for the German Army they would be well treated, considering the shell has been buried and was not water tight is a miracle that they have survived so well again rare to find recovered. The shell was recovered from a Factory site in Poland where they were made be never sent to the Front as the site was captured by the Russians before they could be used. The shell comes with a A5 laminated information card with picture.
