    This is a very rare find from the crash site of a Battle of Britain German bomber it is a rubber Dinghy Repair Patch. The patch which has a metal centre clip which still works and is part numbered the part has been very well cleaned it retains its original colours the metal centre has light rust the rubber has 15 written on to it not sure what this means if it is original or post war but either way a lovely and rare original item and is perfect for display or any collection and is 12 inches long and 8 inches wide. This is a lovely condition part recovered from Junkers ju88 bomber number 317 shot down 16th October 1940 which crashed in Essex .This part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information cards with pictures.

    German Junkers Ju88 bomber work number 317 which was on the 16th October 1940 this aircraft was on a bombing raid over London but before it got there it crashed in a very large explosion and burned out in the Village of Much Hadham near Bishops stortford Church in Essex .All the crew were killed they were Hauptmann Erich Hass, Feldwebel Josef Kessels, Feldwebel Gunther Suhr and war correspondant Anton Doppelfeld.
