    This is a group of German soldiers leather webbing and clips from a back pack and the back section of the leather webbing straps they ware.The leather remains still retains its black colour the leather is in fantastic condition for its age it is dry and not braking up and is in very solid condition they have only survived this well as they have been in a chalk lined bunker for 100 years only.The clips and leather were recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay which was a German artillery position during the later part of The Somme battle in 1916 a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
