    This is a German soldiers possibly Fallschirmjager M42 helmet single decal with a clear to see decal remains the swastika is near complete.The helmet has a lot of rust all over but not very much thick heavy rust very small amount of patchy paint it is very solid and not braking up or crumbling but does have a large blast hole and cracks in the top where its ripped and bent due to the explosion it is still smooth to the touch in a few places but is more pitted in places then smooth the helmet has no leather liner or chin strap.The helmet has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The helmet was recovered from near the town of Goch in the Reichswald Forest which was part of the Siegfried Line this area was defended in the battle by the 6th Parachute division with other troops so hence the possibly fallschirmjager helmet as they were there the battle fought between 8th February to 11th March 1945 in Germany.
