German stick grenade wooden handle in fantastic condition for a wooden relic the wood is solid not braking up or crumbling still in very solid condition. The stick does have some damage but still has remains of metal case and screw top in place it has been nicely cleaned perfect to display or any collection. The grenade handle was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle, Falaise Pocket in France 1944. A nice relic from the Normandy battlefield.
