This is a completely very rare find from the battlefield German Tiger 1 tank fired 8.8cm KwK36,L56 steel shell case which has the C/22 electric primer only 88 cases fired by the Tiger tank had these. The shell case which is in semi relic condition really fantastic condition for a recovered case the case is very solid it is complete it does not have any rust holes and a bit of damage around the top neck but the very rare bit about 90% of its original brass wash still on it on the outside it has discoloured in places to a black colour still very smooth to the touch on the inside 100% brass wash looks perfect the markings on the bottom of the case can be partly seen it is dated 1944 that can be seen fairly clear .This case is a unbelievably rare  find in this nice condition from the battlefield the best tiger 1 case i have ever had that has actually recovered buried on the battlefield it has been in the silt of the lake which has preserved it so very well .The shell case was recovered from a Lake East of Bastogne from battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.Due to the very low number of Tiger 1 tanks in the battle it is very easy to work out what unit it is from Schwere Panzer Abteilung 506.The shell case comes with a A5 laminated information card and picture.

The only German Wehrmacht unit with Tiger 1 tanks in the whole battle and offensive 14 of them most were destroyed. They were in the 4th Company of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 506.
