German Wooden ammunition crate for 15.2cm KH433 artillery gun which was used by the Finnish Army during and after the war.The box is in very nice condition the wood still retains its original black paint work which is very rare to find this nicely preserved the box has original war time stamped markings on the lid clear to read also has paper labels on it from when it was used by the Finnish Army.The box has both hinges in nice condition also the locks still work perfectly the lid still opens and closes perfectly a very nice example of the famous ammunition crate.
The artillery gun was a captured Russian peace In the early stage of the German invasion of the Soviet
Union hundreds of ML-20 were captured by the Wehrmacht. The gun was
adopted by Germans as 15.2 cm KH.433/1(r). From February 1943 Germans
manufactured ammunition for the gun.
