    This is a glass framed group of relics which include airframe parts, cockpit perspex, fired 7.92mm bullet cases and heads all recovered from German Messerschmitt 110 number 3060 of 4/ZG 26 which was shot down on the 18th August 1940 by RAF fighters of number 56 squadron.

    The plane crashed at Pivington Mill in the village of Pluckley in Kent. 

    The ME110 110 was piloted by Oberfeldwebel Kiefel and co-pilot Unteroffizer Hemmersbach who were both killed. The plane was shot down at 1.40pm on that Sunday afternoon in the Summer of 1940.

    The parts have been nicely cleaned and all have been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with plane and crash information and pictures the frame is 11 inches by 11 inches in size.
