    This is a aluminium airframe section and a section of mag allow engine case both that still retain a lot of there original paintwork they have bent and ripped by the impact of the crash they are nice and clean and a large size rare to get such nice bits from battle of Britain ME109 they have been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with plane and crash information and pictures the frame is 20 inches by 12 inches in size.The parts come from German Messerschmitt 109 number 4888 flown by Oberleutnant Volk shot down on the 11th November 1940 and crashed at Peasmarsh in Sussex. A very nice group of parts from the famous battle of Britain and German messerschmitt 109 this one in a famous action already to hang on the wall or stand on display.


    German Messerschmitt bf 109E-1 work number 4888 of 9/JG53.The plane was piloted by Oberleutnant Josef Volk was killed on the 11th November 1940 at 9.30am the plane was shot down and crashed Peasmarsh.

    The plane got separated from the rest of the formation and was attacked by RAF hurricanes of 605 squadron it was shot down by Flight lieutenant A.Ingle. The plane crashed Blackwall Bridge near Peasmarsh in Sussex. J.Volk bailed out and was taken prisoner slightly burned and felling ill.
