    This is a group of Daimler Benz engine case and a section of engine bearing all ripped off and smashed by the impact of the crash all retain some of there original colour they are in nice and well cleaned and have been mounted in to a glass fronted box frame with plane and crash information and pictures the frame is 13 inches by 11 inches in size.The parts come from Messerschmitt Bf109E work number 4822 shot down on the 22nd October 1940 and crashed in the sea off Kent A very nice group of parts from the famous battle of Britain and German Messerschmitt 109 this one shot down already to hang on the wall or stand on display.

    Messerschmitt Bf109E work number 4822 of JG51 flown by Feldwebel Mueller shot down on the 22nd October 1940 and crashed in the sea off Kent.

    The plane was severely damaged in attacks by squadron leader A.G.Malan and flying officer J.C.Mungo-Park of Number 74 squadron. The plane was on escort sortie for bomber formation attacking London.The plane crashed into the channel 4 miles east of Hastings at 2.30pm on the 22nd October1940 Mueller bailed out unhurt and rescued from his dinghy by the Hastings lifeboat.
