German Deutsches Arbeit front made for the Wehrmacht wooden hay box with carry fork used for feeding horses in the field. This box which is complete the wood did have worm worm but has been treated is very solid and has the black stamped marker mark DAF on the bottom of it also with it is the small fork the soldiers used for moving the bales about this still has black paint work on it.The size of this hay box is 26 inches long and a rare find as wooden items normally dont survive very well this one is good condition. The box a fork came from a local brocante or boot fair in Bras a village just outside Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest used by the German forces in the battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.A very nice rare relic freshly found in September 2018 in Belgium ware it has been since the battle.
