    German propeller used on F5B aerial Torpedoes.This one is complete rusty but solid still retains its original shape and is pretty much undamaged but is in relic condition this heavy propeller is 14 inches long from point to point.This very rare item was recovered from an old German Bomber base on the Baltic coast in Germany used against Allied shipping from 1940 until 1945 with torpedo in action from 1941.A very nice and rare relic from a Luftwaffe Torpedo and comes with a A5 laminated information sheet and pictures. 

    The F5B torpedo was in service from late 1941 to the end of the war with relatively minor changes. To control flight in the air a wooden K3 tail was used that broke off when entering the water. This was replaced in 1944 with the L2.
