    German artillery gun primer from brass shell case for Czechoslovakia 10cm Skoda houfnice VZ 14/19 howitzer.The primer is complete it is in lovely condition with no damage still retains its original brass colour and still has all its original markings clear to read including the date 1940 and waffen stamp with M stamp which means made in Czech factory under German control.This primer was found in Northern France.This is a very nice relic from the the German invasion of Europe in 1940 and a unusual item to get perfect to go back in to a case.

    Czechoslovakia 10cm Skoda houfnice VZ 14/19 howitzer was captured by the Germans in 1938 in very large numbers and used on 2nd line defences in Occupied Europe.These guns formed part of the Atlantic Wall and in Normandy they were most famously used in at the Merville battery near Sword Beech captured during the D-Day landings.
