    This is a very rare find from the crash site of a Battle of Britain German bomber a lovely pair of electrical parts . This pair of parts with many electrical connectors and wiring still attached and a couple of markings that can be seen but with more cleaning other part numbers might be there they can not be seen at the moment they have lots of original black paintwork all the parts have been very well cleaned they retain most of there original colours and are perfect for display or any collection and are both around 5 inches long. These lovely condition parts were recovered from German Junkers ju88 A-5 number 2189 of 3/KG54 the plane was shot down at 12.35am on the 20th November 1940 By RAF night ace. The plane was part of the 439 bombers that were dispatched to bomb Birmingham.

    The plane was damaged by RAF night fighter and then flew on for a while before it crashed at Stocks Lane near East Wittering, Chichester. The crew were Unteroffizier k.Sondermeier and Gefreiter G.Seuss both bailed out and were taken prisoner also Unteroffizier H.Liebermann and Flieger P.May were both killed. The plane was shot down by RAF Beaufighter R2098 of 604 squadron flown by Flight Lieutenant J.Cunningham and J.Phillipson this was the first recorded kill by an A1 equipped Beaufighter. Cats eyes Cunningham as he became known this is how he shot down this plane. A tell-tale sign of an aircraft was a blank patch of sky surrounded by a cluster of stars. Keeping in the enemy's blind spot i flew below it and adjusted my speed to match the German pilot. After closing the range as much as i dared I fired with all four cannons which ripped in to the Junkers Ju 88 which exploded upon hitting the ground this was his first victory over a Ju88 bomber.
